Hello, I’m Kristofer Cullum-Fernandez — artist, observer, and quiet storyteller based in Romney Marsh, where the land meets sky in wide, windswept stillness.
Originally trained as a landscape architect, I learned to read the character of places — how light shifts, how people move, how nature softens the built world. That same sensibility now guides my artwork. Whether I’m sketching a wedding moment, a family pub, or a fleeting glance on a street corner, I draw with the intention of holding a feeling, not just a likeness.
Each piece is created by hand — using fine liner, soft washes of watercolour, and instinctive lines that echo both mood and movement. My sketchbooks are full of stories: some planned, some caught by surprise, many drawn on location.
Based on the marsh but often found on the road — whether drawing, playing music in local pubs, or chasing light with a camera — I value rhythm, spontaneity, and the small, quiet moments that often say the most.
Thank you for visiting. If something here speaks to you, or if you’d like to commission a moment of your own, I’d love to hear from you.
